Whether in the classroom, museum or in the field, she has sought to document and teach the African-American odyssey through various mediums.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Derthick Hall Room 101<\/p>\n<p>Alvarado will discuss her book and recent art exhibition \u201cAtlanta and the Civil Rights Movement, 1944-1968,\u201d a featured exhibition on the Atlanta Beltline.
