More than 55 booths were set up on two floors of the College of Engineering and Computer Science for its Spring Career Fair, the strongest showing of employers since the college began hosting its bi-annual career fair five years ago.<\/p>\n

Interest was so great for the event, held Wednesday, March 6, booths were fully booked by the beginning of March. Hosting the Career Fair at the college makes it easy for students to participate and for faculty and staff to network with employers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had so much positive feedback from employers about our students, that they were both prepared and professional,” says Julie David, director of student success. “I feel confident many students will gain employment from today\u2019s event.\u201d<\/p>\n

Industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, automotive technologies, government, construction and data analytics participated. Among the companies represented were Denso, Volkswagen, TVA, Erlanger Health System, Komatsu, EPB and McKee Foods.<\/p>\n

To help students put their best foot forward, the college hosted a variety of events, including Backpack 2 Briefcase<\/a> and a resume workshop.<\/p>\n

The College of Engineering and Computer Science holds a Career Fair twice a year, always on the first Wednesday of March and November. Alumni and community college students are invited to attend.<\/p>\n
