Yet they continue to find the money to make a contribution to keep quality public radio alive for the area,\u201d said Robin Higgins, WUTC membership coordinator.<\/p>\n<p>WUTC, operated by UTC, draws listeners from Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina who telephoned, mailed, or made internet pledges to cover programming costs of the radio station.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re fortunate that so many loyal listeners always come through for us,\u201d said Higgins.<\/p>\n<p>WUTC is the area\u2019s source for programming from National Public Radio. Besides nationally syndicated public radio favorites, it is the home of locally produced music and informational programs.
