He is a former IRS Revenue Agent and has often served as an expert witness on tax matters in Tennessee local and state courts as well as the U.S Bankruptcy Court and Tax Court.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson joined Henderson Hutcherson &amp; McCullough in 1981 and was admitted to partnership the following year. He specializes in income\/estate\/gift tax planning for individuals and succession planning for owners of closely held businesses.<\/p>\n<p>Henderson\u2019s professional and outside affiliations include the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants, Chattanooga Area Tax Practitioners, Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga, Siskin Foundation and Austin Peay State University Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation of the Beta Alpha Psi Accountant of the Year award to Carl Henderson was made by Donnie Hutcherson, Certified Public Accountant and Managing Partner at HHM.<\/p>\n<p>Beta Alpha Psi is a professional, international honors organization for accounting, finance and information systems majors.
