Four students graduated in August 2010,\u201d said Alp.<\/p>\n<p>The Bachelor\u2019s of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering Technology Management (ETM) with the concentration in the Construction Management started in fall 2008 as the first Construction Management BS degree in the State of Tennessee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have received $150,000 from the AGC (Associated General Contractors) of East Tennessee to establish and launch the program here. The AGC of East Tennessee has also provided more than $25,000 in scholarships in the last two years for the UTC Construction Management students,\u201d said Alp.<\/p>\n<p>Alp said construction management is the second largest industry in the United States and there is a shortage of qualified people to work in the field.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe added a new graduate program in Construction Management as the concentration in the Master\u2019s of Science Engineering Management program, which will be offered in fall 2010.
