{"id":35769,"date":"2021-03-05T11:48:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-05T16:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/news\/?p=35769"},"modified":"2021-03-05T11:48:36","modified_gmt":"2021-03-05T16:48:36","slug":"center-of-excellence-in-applied-computational-science-and-engineering-2022-awardees","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/news\/2021\/03\/center-of-excellence-in-applied-computational-science-and-engineering-2022-awardees\/","title":{"rendered":"Center of Excellence in Applied Computational Science and Engineering 2022 Awardees"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eight faculty-led projects spanning multiple departments at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga have been awarded over $700,000 in support from the <a href=\"https:\/\/new.utc.edu\/research\/simcenter\/news\/simcenter-center-of-excellence-applied-computational-science-and-engineering-ceacse\">Center of Excellence in Applied Computational Science and Engineering<\/a> (CEACSE).<\/p>\n<p>A number of the funded proposals are interdisciplinary, with two UTC colleges represented among the eight proposals<\/p>\n<p>CEACSE money is awarded annually on a competitive basis. The primary goal is to help develop new projects and skills in computational sciences.<\/p>\n<p>The funding will run from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022.
