It represents the next step in the integration of multifunctional IEDs based on the development and implementation of advanced distributed protection and control functions.<\/p>\n<p>This seminar is specifically tailored to project planners, operating and commissioning staff who need to understand how to take full advantage of this potential for successful application.<\/p>\n<p>Apostolov holds the MS in Electrical Engineering, the MS in Applied Mathematics and the Ph.D. from the Technical Universityin Sofia, Bulgaria. He worked for fourteen years in the Protection &amp; Control Section of Energoproject Research and Design Institute, Sofia, Bulgaria.<\/p>\n<p>He is presently Principal Engineer for OMICRON in Los Angeles, California. He is an IEEE Fellow and Member of the Power Systems Relaying Committee and Substations C0 Subcommittee.
