A spring semester tradition returns when the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga campus celebrates I Love UTC Week Monday through Friday, Feb. 28 to March 4.<\/p>\n
Blue and gold are the colors of the week, of course, and a staple of the event\u2014the cult classic \u201cI Love UTC Week\u201d buttons\u2014will be available daily near the UTC Library\u2019s first-floor checkout desk.<\/p>\n
\u201cA couple of our signature events are coming back,\u201d said Laura Cagle, director of stewardship and donor events in the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs and coordinator of I Love UTC Week. She has been involved with the event since its inaugural year in 2014.<\/p>\n
\u201c’Hey Day’ takes place on Monday. That\u2019s where name tags and T-shirts are spread out throughout campus. You make a name tag, it says your name and it encourages people to say \u2018Hey\u2019 and get to meet fellow Mocs,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd the Student Advancement Council is going to do an I Love UTC Selfie Station in the University Center lobby on Monday, so that\u2019s a big kickoff event.\u201d<\/p>\n
Below are listings for the I Love UTC Week<\/a> festivities.<\/p>\n When:<\/strong> 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 27<\/p>\n Location:<\/strong> Clarence T. Jones Observatory, 10 N. Tuxedo Ave., Chattanooga<\/p>\n Details: <\/strong>The largest telescope in the area will be on exhibit. The best way to find the observatory is to enter \u201cBrainerd United Methodist Church\u201d in your navigational software, park behind the church and walk up the paved driveway next to the cemetery.
