There will be demonstrations and hands-on displays, giving attendees the chance to see the projects in person and ask questions of the student researchers. The event also is online for those who can&#8217;t or prefer not to attend in person.<\/p>\n<p>In recent years, the UTC CECS has developed relationships with high schools and community colleges in the area.\u00a0Through events such as the Technology Innovates Our World Symposium and CECS internships, the research and educational partnerships continue to expand.<\/p>\n<p>Supported by the thriving Chattanooga tech corridor, a strong foundation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics education is a positive force in the local economy.<\/p>\n<p>John Loudermilk, president and chief executive officer of Birla Carbon, will speak at the symposium. Birla Carbon is the world\u2019s leading sustainable manufacturer and supplier of carbon black additives.<\/p>\n<p>Carbon black is mainly used as a reinforcing material in tires and other rubber products.
