Two UTC faculty and staff members recently receive external funding.<\/p>\n
Sandy Cole, Director of the Center for Community Career Education (CCCE), received $3,000 from the Hamilton County Department of Education to continue a mentoring program for area students. Ms. Cole and the CCCE team, with the assistance of UTC student mentors, will provide an after school enrichment program and classes on literacy and math skills for students at Brown Academy.<\/p>\n
Dr. John McCormack, Station Manager of WUTC, attracted $137,999 from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to continue Radio Community Service for 2010-2012.
