Photo by Angela Foster.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga\u2019s UTC Road Trip: The Power C Tour kicked off in the Nashville area on Thursday, Nov. 3. The event at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs is part of a statewide outreach effort to prospective students on academic programs, housing options, financial aid and campus life at UTC.<\/p>\n<p>UTC Road Trip: The Power C Tour will feature presentations, information booths, light refreshments and prizes. Among the prizes students will have the opportunity to win are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Two $1,000 Power C scholarships<\/li>\n<li>Two $500 housing stipends<\/li>\n<li>Orientation registration discounts<\/li>\n<li>UTC-themed prizes and gear<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, prospective students will be able to receive an admissions decision at the event. Qualified high seniors who meet admissions requirements (2.85 GPA with an 18 ACT or a 2.5 GPA with a 21 ACT) can get admitted in a \u201cMoc Minute\u201d on the spot that night for free.
