It\u2019s an informal, come-as-you-are event and you don\u2019t have to stay for the whole thing. We also have food and encourage students to bring their parents and their friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><b>Power C Tour Dates<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">Thursday, Oct. 5\u2014Memphis<br \/>\nTuesday, Oct. 24\u2014Nashville<br \/>\nMonday, Oct. 30\u2014Knoxville<br \/>\nWednesday, Nov. 8\u2014Chattanooga<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p>Prospective students can receive an admissions decision at the event. Qualified high seniors who meet admissions requirements (2.85 GPA with an 18 ACT or a 2.5 GPA with a 21 ACT, top 10% of high school graduating class or 4.0 cumulative GPA) can get <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.utc.edu\/enrollment-management-and-student-affairs\/admissions\/special-events\/utc-road-trip\">admitted to UTC<\/a><\/strong> in a \u201cMoc Minute at the four Power C Tour events without paying an application fee.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing able to get accepted to UTC that night can really take the pressure off the students, and even parents,\u201d Banks said.<\/p>\n<p>To participate in Moc Minute, students must submit an online application at <a href=\"https:\/\/webapp.utc.edu\/apply\/\"><strong>www.utc.edu\/apply<\/strong><\/a> at least 48 hours in advance; students should ask their school counselor to print their transcript and put it in a sealed envelope to bring to the event\u2014or email it to <a href=\"mailto:transcripts@utc.edu\"><strong>transcripts@utc.edu<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Power C Tours aim to give would-be Mocs a feel for UTC and useful information about academic programs, admissions, housing, tuition, financial aid and campus life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just want to see you and answer all your questions,\u201d Banks said.<\/p>\n<p>The most-asked questions Banks and the UTC crew field on the road trip?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople are so curious about what you can do on campus and in Chattanooga,\u201d Banks said. \u201cI like to tell them about our Division I sports teams and how they can attend all UTC athletic events for free.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs for Chattanooga, there\u2019s great food and cultural events, tons of internship opportunities and, of course, the outdoors.
