second time this year, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga School of Nursing has been recognized as the best in the state of Tennessee by Nurse.org, an influential national organization.<\/p>\n<p>, an online source supporting and empowering nurses to better their careers, lives and profession by publishing trusted educational resources, announced the UTC nursing school as the top vote-getter in the Tennessee Student Choice Award competition\u2014as voted by students and alumni.<\/p>\n<p>UTC is now in the running to be named one of the top three nursing schools in the country, with online voting taking place at <a href=\"https:\/\/nurse.org\/articles\/top-nursing-schools-student-choice\/\"><strong>nurse.org\/win<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is so heartwarming to see that students in the School of Nursing feel strongly enough about our program to vote for us for best in state and hopefully for best in the country,\u201d said Dr. Chris Smith, director of the UTC School of Nursing. \u201cOur students are what makes our program great.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In June, Nurse.org selected the UTC nursing program as the top school in Tennessee in its <a href=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/news\/2023\/06\/nurse-org-names-utc-school-of-nursing-best-in-tennessee\"><strong>Best Nursing Schools by State rankings<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In its summary of the UTC program, Nurse.org wrote that nursing students who choose UTC \u201cget to enjoy an urban campus and the benefits of a large school.\u201d Available programs include a traditional BSN, an online RN-BSN, an accelerated BSN and five concentrations in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program.<\/p>\n<p>A Nurse.org panel of nurses reviewed every school in the U.S. and used numerous factors to rank the top schools by state, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reputation<\/li>\n<li>NCLEX pass rate<\/li>\n<li>Tuition<\/li>\n<li>Acceptance rate, when available<\/li>\n<li>Only ACEN or CCNE-accredited
