Qualified Knoxville-area seniors received the chance to get admitted to UTC in a “Moc Minute” during the Power C Tour visit.<\/p><\/div>\n

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga\u2019s third annual Power C Tour\u2014a statewide outreach effort to prospective students on academic programs, admissions, housing, financial aid and campus life at UTC\u2014visited the Knoxville Convention Center on Wednesday, Oct. 23.<\/p>\n

The Power C Tour gives local high school students, transfers, graduate students and their families a feel for UTC.\u00a0Representatives from the academic colleges, student services and campus leaders\u2014plus current students and mascot Scrappy\u2014were on hand to answer questions and make connections in a friendly, relaxed environment.<\/p>\n

This fall, approximately 8% of UTC\u2019s freshman class came to Chattanooga from the Knoxville metropolitan area.<\/p>\n
