Attendees will experience hands-on demonstrations and interactive projects while meeting local industry leaders and UTC students, faculty and staff.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free to attend, but <a href=\"http:\/\/utc.edu\/engineering-and-computer-science\/center-for-student-success\/prospective-and-incoming-cecs-students\/eweek-open-house\"><strong>guests are asked to register in advance<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Engineering and Computer Science Building is located at 735 Vine St. in Chattanooga. Parking is free in lots on the UTC campus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe E-Week Open House is a fantastic way for families, students and the community to engage with engineering and computer science in a fun, hands-on environment,\u201d CECS Outreach Coordinator Alex Coker said. \u201cWith lab experiments, cutting-edge research and activities for all ages, this event offers a unique opportunity to see the impact of engineering and technology in action.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>E-Week Open House highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interactive demonstrations: UTC students and faculty will showcase hands-on projects in Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical and Computer Engineering.
