Bhosale has been recognized among the top 0.05% of scholars worldwide by ScholarGPS.<\/p>\n<p>Bhosale, who joined the UTC College of Engineering and Computer Science in spring 2023, was ranked No. 3,837 (0.03%) overall across all disciplines and No. 7 (0.02%) in the field of hydrogen energy in the categories of \u201cHighly Ranked Scholars\u2014Prior Five Years.\u201d He was also ranked No. 1,668 (0.08%) in engineering and computer science, No. 636 (0.09%) in energy and No. 180 (0.11%) in chemical engineering.<\/p>\n<p>The ScholarGPS database tracks more than 30 million scholars from 120,000 institutions globally, evaluating them on publication records, citation performance and disciplinary leadership.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis recognition highlights the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga\u2019s commitment to fostering a dynamic academic environment and engaging in rigorous research,\u201d he said. \u201cI am pleased to have played a role in enhancing UTC\u2019s research reputation on both national and international platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bhosale\u2019s research spans energy, environmental and materials-related topics\u2014including solar fuels, energy storage, fossil fuel reforming, catalysis, carbon capture and utilization, bioenergy, biofuels, batteries, desalination, wastewater treatment, computational thermodynamics, and modeling.<\/p>\n<p>His work includes 223 publications with about 7,000 citations, an h-index of 52 and an i-10 index of 122. He has collaborated with institutions across the United States, Europe and the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor me, research transcends discovery; it involves the creation of a cleaner, more equitable future through innovation and collaboration,\u201d Bhosale said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy research is guided by a vision to develop sustainable energy solutions that are both scientifically innovative and practically scalable for real-world applications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since 2020, Bhosale has been recognized by ScholarGPS as a \u201cHighly Ranked Scholar\u201d in hydrogen energy.
