Lady Mocs Basketball and UTC wrestlers will soon begin Southern Conference Championship play.<\/p>\n

After a two-year hiatus, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women’s basketball team reclaimed the Southern Conference title outright with a 68-59 win over Davidson at the McKenzie Arena in front of 2,336 fans. The win clinched the top seed for the Lady Mocs at the Southern Conference Tournament March 8-11 in Asheville, N.C.\u00a0 Read more<\/a>.\u00a0 The Lady Mocs season finale is at Appalachian State on Saturday, March 2nd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

UTC junior Ashlen Dewart (Spartanburg, S.C.) was selected the Southern Conference women’s basketball Player of the Week, her second nod this season.\u00a0 Read more<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The UTC wrestling team grabbed the outright 2013 Southern Conference Regular Season Championship with a 30-4 win over Campbell in Maclellan Gym. The Mocs are training for the 2013 Southern Conference Tournament, scheduled for Saturday, March 9, at VMI in Lexington, Va.<\/p>\n

UTC senior Josh Condon<\/a> has been named the Southern Conference Wrestler of the Week for all competition from Feb. 20-26, the league office announced today.<\/p>\n
