As the temperature begins to drop, plan to warm up at the 5th <\/sup>Annual UTC Bonfire on Wednesday, November 6 at the former Chamberlain Field. This year\u2019s event will be sponsored by the Student Government Association (SGA).\u00a0Students with a valid Mocs card can come at 6:30 p.m. to enjoy free refreshments and giveaways. The bonfire and pep rally will begin shortly after 7 p.m.<\/p>\n

One of the newer and more popular traditions on campus, the bonfire has hosted hundreds of Mocs supporters in recent years.<\/p>\n

For Chuck Cantrell, Associate Vice Chancellor of Communication and Marketing, and also an alumnus, the bonfire offers a great chance for students to come together and support Mocs athletics.<\/p>\n

\u201cEven though the event is only a few years old, a lot of students come and have a great time. It will be a great opportunity to support the football team as they make a push towards the playoffs, as well as the wrestling and basketball teams,\u201d said Cantrell.<\/p>\n

Join the UTC Band, cheerleaders, athletes and coaches as the campus rallies for the last home football game, as well as the season openers for the wrestling team and both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s basketball teams.<\/p>\n
