An investigator may participate as PI, co-PI, or Senior Personnel in at most one proposal in each track per deadline.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Sponsored Projects Policy Spotlight<\/u><\/strong><strong>: Subawards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sponsored Projects Policy\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/policy.tennessee.edu\/policy\/fi0230-sponsored-projects-subaward-origination-and-subrecipient-monitoring\/\">FI0230<\/a>\u00a0lays out the policies and procedures for subaward origination and monitoring. As a reminder, ORSP\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.utc.edu\/research\/research-and-sponsored-programs\/staff\">Award Services<\/a>\u00a0team is the starting point for developing all subaward contracts to and from other institutions. It is the PI\u2019s responsibility to notify ORSP when they are ready to issue a subaward to a collaborating institution and to monitor the subrecipient\u2019s spending and milestone\/deliverable completion.
