Click&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/science.nasa.gov\/researchers\/volunteer-review-panels\">here<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;to learn more and submit a reviewer interest form for your discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>NSF biosketch&nbsp;<\/strong>and<strong>&nbsp;current and pending support forms<\/strong>&nbsp;must now be prepared using&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/sciencv\/\">SciENcv<\/a><\/strong>. You can also schedule a consultation with a grant specialist&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/outlook.office365.com\/owa\/calendar\/UTCORSPFacultyConsultations@live.utk.edu\/bookings\/\">here<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NSF<\/strong>&nbsp;will be hosting their&nbsp;<strong>Fall 2023 Virtual Grants Conference<\/strong>&nbsp;during the week of&nbsp;<strong>December 4 \u2013 7, 2023.&nbsp;<\/strong>Registration is free and opens on&nbsp;<strong>Wednesday, November 8 at 12 pm ET<\/strong>.&nbsp;In the meantime, please check out&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nsfpolicyoutreach.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>nsfpolicyoutreach.com<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;for the most up-to-date information and view&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/nsfpolicyoutreach.com\/resource-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>recordings<\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;of sessions from previous conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NIH<\/strong>&nbsp;has revised its grant review process, effective&nbsp;<strong>January 25, 2025<\/strong>. Click&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/grants.nih.gov\/policy\/peer\/simplifying-review\/framework.htm\">here<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;to read the new review criteria.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Funding Opportunities<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The&nbsp;<strong>US Department of Energy<\/strong>&nbsp;is accepting pre-applications for the&nbsp;<strong>Environmental System Science (ESS)<\/strong>&nbsp;program. See the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/science.osti.gov\/ber\/-\/media\/grants\/pdf\/foas\/2024\/DE-FOA-0003196.pdf\">FOA<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;for more details. Pre-applications are required and must be submitted by ORSP. The deadline for pre-applications is 5pm on&nbsp;<strong>November 29, 2023<\/strong>. An individual may serve as PI on only 1 pre-application in response to this FOA.&nbsp;Please notify ORSP by&nbsp;<strong>November 13<\/strong>&nbsp;if you are interested in submitting a pre-application to this opportunity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NSF<\/strong>&nbsp;has released a new solicitation for the&nbsp;<strong>Research Experiences for Teachers (RET)<\/strong>&nbsp;program, with minor adjustments to the funding and program requirements. The ENG and CISE directorates support this program. See the full solicitation&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/new.nsf.gov\/funding\/opportunities\/research-experiences-teachers-engineering-computer-0\">here<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;for more details. The next RET Site proposal deadline is&nbsp;<strong>Ja<\/strong><strong>nuary 29, 2024<\/strong>.&nbsp;Please notify ORSP by&nbsp;<strong>November 27<\/strong>&nbsp;if you are interested in submitting a proposal to this deadline.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>NSF<\/strong>&nbsp;has released a new solicitation for the&nbsp;<strong>Secure and Trustworthy Cyberspace (SaTC)<\/strong>&nbsp;program, with additional topics of interest and minor adjustments to the program requirements. See the full solicitation&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/new.nsf.gov\/funding\/opportunities\/secure-trustworthy-cyberspace-satc\">here<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;for more details. There is no deadline to apply. This term &amp; condition covers sexual harassment, other forms of harassment, and sexual assault. Other forms of harassment include but are not limited to harassment based on ethnicity, race, or disability.
