We are seeking to gather information about faculty interests and preferences to help us plan for a site visit and other potential activities in 2024. Any UTC faculty member or researcher is eligible to participate. Please take a few moments to complete the brief survey&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tennessee.infoready4.com\/#competitionDetail\/1916282\">here<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>to help us schedule activities of interest to you.<strong><u><\/u><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On&nbsp;<strong>September 20<\/strong>, the UTC Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship will be hosting a talk with Dr. Kusum Rathore, the Vice President for the&nbsp;<strong>UT Research Foundation (UTRF)<\/strong>.&nbsp;Dr. Rathore\u2019s talk will focus on how UTC faculty can take advantage of UTRF\u2019s services for research translation and commercialization. The talk will be held in Mapp Building Room 212 from&nbsp;<strong>10:30am \u2013 12:00pm<\/strong>. Please note that ORSP and ORI will be largely unavailable during the event and our response times may be delayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Friday,<strong>&nbsp;October 22, 2023<\/strong>&nbsp;will be the last day that the NSF fillable PDF format for the biosketch and current and pending support can be uploaded and submitted in research.gov. For proposals due October 23, 2023 or after, investigators must use SciENcv to prepare the biosketch and CPS forms. Having trouble getting set up in SciENcv? The program is aimed at smaller projects with a 2-year duration. Assistant Professors who have not previously served as the PI or Co-PI of an NSF-funded project are eligible to apply. Having funding from other federal agencies does not exclude you from eligibility. The full solicitation is available&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/new.nsf.gov\/funding\/opportunities\/launching-early-career-academic-pathways\">here<\/a><\/strong>.
