This is a special type of proposal that supports exploratory work for \u201cuntested, but potentially transformative\u201d avenues of research. Concept Outlines for EAGER proposals may be submitted at any time. See the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/new.nsf.gov\/policies\/pappg\/23-1\/ch-2-proposal-preparation#2F3\">PAPPG<\/a>&nbsp;for more information. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NSF has released an updated solicitation for the&nbsp;<strong>Dynamics of Integrated Socio-Environmental Systems (DISES)<\/strong>&nbsp;program. The program encourages proposals that explore new theories for integrated socio-environmental systems, as well as multi-scalar dynamics and interaction-based processes within and among the environmental and social components of the system. The full solicitation is available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/new.nsf.gov\/funding\/opportunities\/dynamics-integrated-socio-environmental-systems\">here<\/a>. Proposals are due&nbsp;<strong>November 17, 2023<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>NEH has released an updated solicitation for&nbsp;<strong>Collaborative Research<\/strong>. This program supports teams of scholars in the pursuit of humanities-based research, leading to manuscripts or scholarly digital projects. The full solicitation is available&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.neh.gov\/grants\/research\/collaborative-research-grants\">here<\/a>. Proposals are due&nbsp;<strong>November 29, 2023<\/strong>, but PIs may choose to submit a&nbsp;draft to the PO by&nbsp;<strong>September 18<\/strong>&nbsp;for feedback. &nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Sponsored Projects Policy Spotlight<\/u><\/strong><strong>: Reconciling and Reviewing Ledgers for Restricted Accounts<\/strong><strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UT Policy\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/universitytennessee.policytech.com\/dotNet\/documents\/?docid=34&amp;public=true\">FI0115<\/a>\u00a0establishes fiscal responsibility for reconciling and reviewing ledgers of university accounts, including restricted accounts established for externally sponsored projects. The PI is ultimately responsible for all expenditures on a grant award or research contract and is the signature authority for restricted accounts.
