Ms. Belinda Brownlee<\/strong>\u00a0(Center for Community Career Ed) has received $311,339 from the US Dept. of Education for the project entitled, \u201cUTC Upward Bound Program.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Andrew Carroll<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Mr. Andrew Mindermann<\/strong>\u00a0(Vice Chancellor for Research) have requested and received $1,550 from the Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park for the project entitled, \u201cMap Updates for GA DNR and Friends of Cloudland Canyon State Park.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Andrew Carroll<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Mr. Andrew Mindermann<\/strong>\u00a0(Vice Chancellor for Research) have requested and received $45,000 from the Tennessee Valley Authority for the project entitled, \u201cApplication development for TVA Water Trails Project.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Lucien Ellington<\/strong>\u00a0(School of Education) and\u00a0Mr. Jeffrey Melnik<\/strong>\u00a0(UTC Asia Program) have requested and received $17,996 from the Freeman Foundation for the project entitled, \u201cFreeman Foundation Teacher Professional Development Programs 2017-2018.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Trevor Elliott<\/strong>\u00a0(Engineering Mechanical) has received $49,000 from the Denso North America Foundation for the project entitled, \u201cBaja SAE Capstone Project.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Gregory Heath<\/strong>\u00a0(Health & Human Performance) and\u00a0Dr. Jerald Ainsworth<\/strong>\u00a0(Provost and Academic Affairs) have received $87,560 from the NIH\u2019s National Center for Research Resources for the project entitled, \u201cNIH BRAD \u2013 CREATE.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Nicholas Honerkamp<\/strong>\u00a0(Sociology) has received $4,322 from the Georgia Department of Natural Resources for the project entitled, \u201cA Proposal for Conducting Archaeological Survey and Testing at Three Historic Sites, Sapelo Island, Georgia.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Ralph Hood<\/strong>\u00a0(Psychology) and Dr. Christopher Silver<\/strong> (Academic Affairs) have requested and received $31,060 from The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine for the project entitled, \u201cProtection of the Force and Family (POTFF) Spiritual Fitness Metrics.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. David Levine<\/strong>\u00a0(Physical Therapy) has requested and received $2,978 from the Goodhew for the project entitled, \u201cEffectiveness of Sockwell Compression Socks: A White Paper on Vascular Effects.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ms. Laurie Melnik<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ms. Michele Mummert<\/strong>\u00a0(Southeast Center for Education\u00a0and the Arts), have requested and received $8,000 from the TN Arts Commission for the project entitled, \u201cArts Learning Lab.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Hong Qin<\/strong>\u00a0(Engineering and SIM Center) has received $133,156 from the National Science Foundation for the project entitled, \u201cCAREER: A probabilistic gene network model of cellular aging and its application on the conserved lifespan extension mechanisms of dietary restriction.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Donald Reising<\/strong>\u00a0(Engineering Electrical) has requested and received $58,941 from the Electric Power Research Institute for the project entitled, \u201cLearning from Power Quality Wave Forms.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Mina Sartipi<\/strong>\u00a0(Computer Science\u00a0and SimCenter) has received $15,600 from the National Science Foundation\u2019s Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering for the project entitled, \u201cREU Supplement \u2013 US Ignite: Collaborative Research: Focus Area 1: Fleet Management of Large-Scale Connected and Autonomous Vehicles in Urban Settings.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr. Takeo Suzuki<\/strong>\u00a0(International Education) has received $193,384 from FHI 360 for the project entitled, \u201cSocial Entrepreneurship SUSI Institute.\u201d<\/p>\n
