Dr. Daniel Loveless (Electrical Engineering) has received $202,958 from the U.S. Department of Defense Air Force Research Laboratory for the project entitled, “Fundamental Research into Radiation Effects in Cryogenic Electronics Technologies.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Jonathan Mies (Biology, Geology, and Environmental Science) has received $5,000 from the Archer Daniels Midland Company for the project entitled, “X-Ray Diffraction Analyses.”<\/p>\n

Drs. Jill Shelton (Psychology) and Amy Doolittle (Social Work) have requested and received $6,500 from Western Kentucky University for the project entitled, “Bingocize: An evidence-based health promotion program to improve the quality of life of Tennessee certified nursing facility residents.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Dawn Ford (Health & Human Performance) has requested $8,423 from the Alliance of Women Philanthropists – Giving Circle for the project entitled, “Southside Chattanooga Lead Poisoning Prevention Community Project.”<\/p>\n

Dr. June Hanks (Physical Therapy) and Professor Elizabeth Bunting (Physician Assistant Studies) have requested $8,660 from the Alliance of Women Philanthropists – Giving Circle for the project entitled, “UTC Collaborative Clinical Medical Laboratory.”<\/p>\n

Drs. Azad Hossain, Mark Schorr (Biology, Geology, and Environmental Science), and Jejal Reddy Bathi (Civil and Chemical Engineering) have requested $24,976 from the U.S. Department of the Interior -Geological Survey TN Water Research Center for the project entitled, “Integration of Remote Sensing Technology with Hydrodynamic Models for Surface Water Quality Monitoring in Southeast Tennessee.”<\/p>\n

Sara Jackson (Center for Student Success) has requested $25,000 from the Alliance of Women Philanthropists – Giving Circle for the project entitled, “Women in Engineering Recruitment Series.”<\/p>\n

Drs. Lingju Kong and John Graef (Mathematics) have requested $422,834 from the National Science Foundation for the project entitled, “Collaborative research: RUI: Dynamics of Online Social Networks.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Eleni Panagiotou (Mathematics) has requested $24,388 from the Alliance of Women Philanthropists – Giving Circle for the project entitled, “Foundation of Women in STEM Organization at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Brooke Persons (Social, Cultural, and Justice Studies) has requested $6,847 from the Maho Crossroads for the project entitled, “Phase I Archaeological Survey of Plot 3-2 Miland, St. John, US Virgin Islands (JBIA Proposal 20.004.01).”<\/p>\n

Dr. Donald Reising (Electrical Engineering) has requested $50,040 from Applied Engineering Concepts for the project entitled, “Locally-Aware, Deep, Distributed Spectral Sensing (LADDSS).”<\/p>\n

Drs. Donald Reising (Electrical Engineering), Mina Sartipi (CUIP), and Dalei Wu (Computer Science and Engineering) have requested $829,768 from the National Science Foundation for the project entitled, “Collaborative Research: MLWiNS: RUI: Secure, Real-Time Spectrum Utilization Through Deep Learning and Specific Emitter Identification at the Edge.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Jill Shelton (Psychology) has requested $2,452 from the Society for the Teaching of Psychology for the project entitled, “Those Who Teach, Can Do: Development of Professional Skills Through Undergraduate Teaching Experience.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Anthony Skjellum (SimCenter) has requested $165,768 from the National Science Foundation for the project entitled, “Collaborative Research: SHF: OAC Core: Small: Dynamic, Elastic, and Resource-Conscious MPI for Exascale and Clouds.”<\/p>\n

Drs. Anthony Skjellum (SimCenter) and Farah Kandah (Computer Science and Engineering) have requested $419,591 from the National Science Foundation for the project entitled, “Collaborative Research: CSSI: Elements: Advancing the Scrybe Data Provenance Platform and User Community.”<\/p>\n

Perry Storey (Challenger STEM Learning Center) has requested $10,000 from the Alliance of Women Philanthropists – Giving Circle for the project entitled, “Bringing the World and More to Teachers and Students in The Tennessee Valley.”<\/p>\n

Drs. Khalid Tantawi (Engineering and Management Technology) and Christopher Silver (LEAD) have requested $198,065 from the National Science Foundation for the project entitled, “Collaborative Research: Preparing the Workforce for Industry 4.0’s Intelligent Industrial Robotics.”<\/p>\n
