Web Development Student responsibilities during an Intake meeting.
Within Web Development, we have a single-page web service includes creating a new page, making significant updates to an existing page, or adding one page to your current site. As a student worker, your responsibiliy to assist with this service.
Before and during the Intake Meeting.
- The developer will lead the meeting.
 
- Please listen to the client and take notes.
 
- If you have any questions or comments, use Teams chat or Zoom chat to communicate with the lead developer ONLY. Do not volunteer any information with the client.
 
- Be prepared post meeting to debrief and share notes and discuss a timeline based on the scope of work and your workload.
 
After the Intake Meeting.
- Post meeting, the lead developer will create a website strategy with a timeline to be approved by the client. This will be a working document based off of the meeting notes and debriefing.
 
- You will need to read the strategy and make any comments, using the comment editor.
 
- Upon client approval, you will be assigned the project in collaboration with the lead developer.
 
- Completed work (draft mode) will need to be approved by the developer before presenting it to the client.
 
- The developer will set-up a presentation meeting with all concerned.
 
- Any edits required will be scheduled.
 
- Repeat #4 and, if need be, #5.
 
- Live date will be set and met.
