These content frameworks are very <strong>important <\/strong>as they determine the type of menu that will be available in that content type. The two types that are most used are the <strong>\u201cUTC Academic Internal Page\u201d<\/strong> and the <strong>\u201cUTC Admin Internal Page\u201d.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like these names suggest, the academic page is for academic and faculty-related content, while the admin page is for administrative and staff-related content. For example, if you are creating a <strong>School of Education<\/strong> <strong>page<\/strong>, then you will need to use the <strong>\u201cAcademic Internal Page\u201d<\/strong> to access your workbench menu and footer options. If you are updating a <strong>Human Resources page<\/strong>, you will need to use the <strong>\u201cUTC Admin Internal Page\u201d<\/strong>.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>3. After selecting the correct page framework, navigate to the right sidebar and click <strong>workbench <\/strong>and enter the <strong>department <\/strong>for this page in the <strong>UTC organization Section<\/strong> field. Entering an organizational name is required. Should you forget to enter this in, your page will not be saved. <strong>If you have trouble saving your page, it\u2019s probably because you did not enter this correctly.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1054\" height=\"820\" src=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/Creating-a-New-Page-in-Drupal_02.mov.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-450\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Next, you will create a <strong>\u201ctitle\u201d<\/strong> and an <strong>\u201cSEO title\u201d<\/strong> for your page. The SEO title is the title the search engine, such as Google, will display in its searches. For instance, you may want to title your page something general like \u201cAbout Us\u201d. However, that\u2019s not very descriptive for searches, so the SEO title may be different like \u201cAbout School of Education\u201d.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1054\" height=\"820\" src=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/Creating-a-New-Page-in-Drupal_03.mov.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-451\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Under the \u201cMeta Tags\u201d section in the right sidebar, you will find the \u201cPAGE Description\u201d. Please write a brief and concise summary of the page&#8217;s content that is a maximum of 160 characters in length. The description of a meta tag may be used by search engines to display a snippet of the page in search results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will not be able to start your content page without completing this section.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Above the Title of your page, you will see the save button and a dropdown menu with the publishing options. The most common ones you\u2019ll use are Draft, Publish, and Unpublished.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are creating a new page, select the \u201cdraft\u201d option until you have your content placed on the page.
