This is a great formatting option for compressing your text under a dropdown tab to conserve space on your page, while also containing your necessary information in a stylish way. It\u2019s an especially good tool for mobile devices as the user doesn\u2019t have to scroll and scroll and scroll to find the information they are looking for. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">1. In your text block window, navigate to text block toolbar and select the Accordion icon (<em>left of the capitalized \u201cE\u201d on the toolbar<\/em>). \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video aligncenter\"><video autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/Screen-Recording-2025-06-09-at-3.24.14\u202fPM.mov\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">2. Once you select the Accordion icon, a template will appear in our block. This may look intimidating at first, but the template is made to be straightforward. You will see two boxes labeled \u201cRow Title\u201d and \u201cRow Content\u201d. As the names suggest, the\u00a0\u201cRow Title\u201d\u00a0is for your content title <em>(like a subhead)<\/em> and the \u201cRow Content\u201d is for the content body. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"686\" src=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/image-2-1024x686.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-483\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/image-2-1024x686.png 1024w, https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/image-2-768x514.png 768w, https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/image-2-580x388.png 580w, https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/image-2-610x408.png 610w, https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/image-2.png 1198w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">3. If you need more Accordion Tabs, you can add another by clicking anywhere in the accordion. A new edit menu will appear that allows you to add an accordion tab above, below, or remove an accordion tab. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/Screen-Recording-2025-06-09-at-3.36.35-PM.mov\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:53px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">4. When you are finished with your Accordion Tab, select the \u201cAdd Block\u201d or \u201cUpdate\u201d option at the bottom of the text block menu. \u00a0<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video autoplay controls loop muted src=\"https:\/\/blogarchive.utc.edu\/web-kb\/files\/2025\/06\/AccordianBlock_Step4.mov\" playsinline><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br><em>One thing to note about accordions is that after you \u201cAdd block\u201d or \u201cUpdate\u201d your block, the accordions won\u2019t be activated.
